They billed Medicare on 01/23/2019 for braces that I did order or ask for I never went to their web site never call them, Medicare did not pay they said it's not fraud if they did not get pay.

Buyer BEWARE! Scam / corrupt CROOKS - after your MEDICARE and charging YOU, with horrible customer service, difficulties with return of item and questioning/stopping charge on credit card - unable to get refund. STAY AWAY! Besides....your medical provider needs to select type of "brace" that is best suited for you, well ease your discomfort, and improve your quality of life, if indeed you even need it AND that there is little / NO relief achieved from these "braces" anyway! If you are are experiencing (ANY) problems, terrible, unethical business practices by these CROOKS, notify the FTC, FBI, SSA, BBB, and your state's AG & Insurance Commissioner.

Always shipped my prduct

they appear to have gone out of business and domain name acquired by SportBraces. I ordered braces from them for years without any problems. placed two orders about 18 months ago (10 & 11/2016) and received the braces in under a week. have to add more because of minimum 100 words. so I have had more problems with this web-site on my first use than with "The Brace Shop" in 6 years. I ordered multiple type of braces from 3 or 4 manufactures because they had better prices and shipping was free. packages arrived within a week, but I am in California, so it is a short trip. Any one who sells the web-site is either in trying to change businesses or in financial problems.

Worst online company ever

I ordered a back brace from this company on July 12, 2017. My credit card was charged the same day. Two weeks later I still had not received the brace. I emailed them and the brace was shipped on July 28. When I received the brace, it was unsatisfactory so I shipped it back to them per their instructions on their website. They received it on August 5 (have tracking by USPS of proof it was delivered to them). I still have not received a refund of $53. I filed complaints with the BBB in SE Florida and the Division of Consumer Services in Florida. I received emails from both of these stating that the Brace Shop had not responded to their inquiries. I read that this company had gone out of business. I hope they are gone for good, but suspect they may pop up again under a different name. What a bunch of dishonest scam artists! I wonder how much money they have scammed from unsuspecting customers.

It has been 4 months since I ordered this time-sensitive brace. The order has not been shipped. Customer service does not return my calls or emails regarding a cancellation or refund. Now the phone # is out of service. The "send" button for complaints on their website appears to be disabled. The toll free number is no longer in service.the credit card company is not able to contact them. You would think that a company that supplies post surgical medical devices would be more prompt and responsive to their customers. I would not recommend ordering from this company. If you did, I would recommend cancelling the charge with the credit card company as soon as possible.

I returned 2 braces I ordered online. I was able to speak to a representative on the phone who sent me an email with all a return authorization and instructions for returning my 2 items. After 45 days I had still not received a refund. I tried contacting the company by phone and email. However, I was no longer auccessful getting a person to answer the phone or call me back when I left a messsge. The same with email. I would not order from this company.

Item never delivered, but credit card billed

I ordered an elbow brace, but by 3 weeks it hadn't come despite my credit card being charged. I called them nearly every day, never an answer, so I left messages, but there was never a call back. I emailed multiple times, but never a response. Now it's been 6 weeks. I am doubtful that this is a legitimate company at this point. I will just work through my credit card company to recoup my money. At least the other reviewers who were frustrated were able to get through the phone tree and talk to a person. I tried to enter random letters in the phone directory to talk to anyone in the company, but none of those numbers answered either.

Nightmare and Epic Liars

The Brace Shop is an absolute nightmare to deal with. I ordered a brace on 12/29/16, they charged me THREE times for the brace, lied to me when I called back, gave me a run around. Talked to Ken, the owner of the business who also lied to me. I paid extra for expedited shipping. Never received my brace. Called back and was lied to again. I have called 9 times and talked with 6 different 'customer service' representatives and they are all liars. I am sending back the brace that finally arrived in the WRONG SIZE. Told to return it for credit. They are not the least bit supportive of customers and are pathological in the amount of lies they dream up to try to *** a customer. Today, I was told that the item was drop shipped from the manufacturer and that they no longer carry that brace. They tried to dump a wrong sized one on me. When I asked them why they didn't tell me this, the girl Caroline, lied and said they discontinued the product line. l said, you dropped this line in the past 6 days since my order? She couldn't even answer. I will NEVER EVER do business with this lousy bunch of liars. Fed up. Buyers beware. Do NOT buy from the Brace Shop. NEVER.

I too ordered two items, supposedly sent Federal Express. As of today - 2 weeks later - I still have no merchandise OR response to 15 phone calls.

Cannot contact these people.

I've emailed, and phone called them to no avail. I want my $$ money returned.

The Brace Shop Customer Care Review

The Braceshop.com has with out question has gone down hill since I started dealing with them some 7 or 8 years ago! Walmart quality braces for big money. ZERO customer service. No response to emails for orders not received. No response refund for orders not received. My recommendation shop somewhere else.

Caution when dealing with this company

I received the $79. knee brace in a timely manner, product did not fit at all, size was way to small even though I measured properly. I paid to have it returned and expected to get a refund within a few weeks, not so, getting them to refund me was like pulling teeth, emails and phone calls were not answered, after a threat to them that I was going to contact my credit card company with a complaint they then replied that they would refund my card minus a $22. restocking fee. It took me 5 weeks for them to do this. In my opinion the knee brace was way over priced and not any better then the one I purchased from wallmart for $20.

My order was handled and delivered as advertised. Item ordered per size chart but was too large. Item returned within 5 days in original condition and original box. I returned Fed EX with signature required at my expense. When I called after I was notified that the package had been delivered I was told by the Brace Shop they had not received it yet. When I produced the documents indicating otherwise they claimed they were behind on "logging in returns" and issuing credits. I was told they had up to 14 business days. To issue a credit. I checked with my credit card company on the 15th business day and no credit was pending. I am through wasting my valuable time on the phone with Customer Service. I will deal with my Credit Card company through the dispute process. The Brace Company has breached their own return policy I therefore will not accept any 15% restocking charge attempt on this order. Buyers should research this company prior to ordering. Buyer beware.

Worst company/major scam. Anything biught from the (not credit only items) is charged a 15% restocking fee. Nowhere in their return policy does it state that all products returned will be billed a 15% restocking fee. I WOULD RECOMMEND THAT YOU DON'T BUY FROM THEM. Also, I review them aling with the product I'm returning and it's been several hours and product on their website shows no reviews. Big scam in my opinion.

Out dated Refund Policy

I ordered a item and then tried to cancel the order. Turns out The Brace Shop doesn't send a email telling you they received your order or that it's been shipped. So, when I cancel the order I get email back saying sorry it's been shipped already. So, when I get the order, i ask for a return authorization number, two days later I get the number. So, ship it back at my expense. I tracked the return and see that they got on Monday 8/29/2016, so on Thursday I sent a email asking about my refund and they sent me this:Your return was received on 8/29/2016 and is currently in our Returns department and is awaiting processing. Please allow 14 business days for your return to be processed. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact our Customer Service Department. Regards, Returns/Exchange Department If you are reading this don't do business with this company and if you did business make sure you file a complaint with BBB.

Buying something @ Braceshop - Brace for a worst experience

Recently purchased a product. During purchasing not enough information to make a right choice. I went wrong there. I had to ship it back at my cost. 12USD gone there. I had to call them 2 times after that. 1 st time they said they received the product and processing it. 2nd call after 2 days they say they take 4 - 7 days for processing the exchange. What the *** they do with 4 - 7 days ?? with unused braces. And I am still waiting for the product to ship. The guy on the phone says he need to call manufacturing to get the shipment number and looks like it takes 15 mins to get tracking number.. "What ??". Is someone walking to manufacturing to get the tracking number ? Very strange process watch out before you buy ! If you don't like all this want to return they charge restocking fee !! Worst experience ever..
